INTee-Services INTEGRATION activities in Natural Resources and Watershed Management lie at the nexus of renewable energy and natural resources combining issues like hydrological assessments for hydropower generation, land use planning for improved resources availability, decreased fuel wood consumption for small scale industries based on non-timber forest products, or reduced erosion due to fuel wood plantations.

INTEGRATION believes in an integrated approach combining new technologies with proven approaches and wider dissemination to a larger population through environmental education and awareness.

Hydrological Assessments and Measurements

INTEGRATION provides complete solutions for hydrological assessments including field data collection, data analyses and modelling. We are able to offer our clients the appropriate discharge measurement technology for all conditions in mountain rivers. Our staff has several years experience in hydrological measurements. We also provide tailor-made trainings in different measurement technologies and have developed a number of print and multimedia manuals for reference.
In collaboration with market leaders of hydro-meteorological instruments we are able to provide our clients with the best data collection systems. In addition to these sophisticated technological options we produce simple measurement solutions adapted to the local conditions.

Based on field data we provide hydrological studies and modelling e.g. for hydropower producers, disaster management, environmental impact assessment or research in water resources management and climate change adaptation.

Integrated watershed management

Integrated watershed management aims at increased resources availability through lower resources degradation and better management of these resources. INTEGRATION has experience in land degradation and erosion assessment with the help of simple assessment methods as well as sustainable land management. Simple and effective erosion control measures are being promoted and trainings for local people can be provided as part of catchment wide erosion management plans or demonstration measures at selected locations. In recent years it became obvious that a better understanding of the glacier resources and permafrost is required to adapt to the impact of climate change in terms of disasters and water resources planning. INTEGRATION provides field resources assessments, capacity development and risk assessment frameworks in mountain environments.
