Work Description:

To strengthen our team and promote our small hydropower projects we are looking for a qualified hydropower engineer. We are presently implementing projects in Afghanistan, Indonesia, Germany, Pakistan, Mozambique and Uganda.

He/she should be able to implement Technical Feasibility Studies, carrying out surveys for new plants and rehabilitation sites, assess plants for repair, rehabilitation and upgrading, prepare power plant layouts and arrange for CAD engineering.

He/she should be able to work on all parts of SHP process management (Preparation of Feasibilities and Technical proposals, Engineering, Tendering, Manufacturing, Erection, Supervision and Commissioning).

Qualification:

• University degree in civil and/or hydropower engineering or a similar profile
• At least 2 years professional experience with proven project management capabilities
• Very good command of English, further languages will be an advantage
• Proficient communication skills, experience in training/capacity building
• Excellent team working abilities
• Experience in technical and/or financial cooperation assignments is an asset

Working Place:

• Graefenberg (near Nuremberg), Germany
• Working as short term expert on assignments worldwide
